The Integrated Education Fund

It aims to make integration, not separation, the norm in the education system in Northern Ireland.
The Fund supports the continued growth of integrated school places and encourages all schools to provide their pupils with the opportunity to engage meaningfully with children from different cultural and religious backgrounds.

Current Projects:

Glengormley Integrated Primary School has become one of the fastest growing schools in Northern Ireland since transforming to integrated status in 2004. Due to the high demand, the school was operating at capacity, but with the help of The Eithne & Paddy Fitzpatrick Memorial Fund a new integrated pre-school playgroup facility was built for the school, that not only meant a new purpose built accommodation for the pre-school children but also additional space was created for another new classroom in the school.

Past Projects:

The Eithne & Paddy Fitzpatrick Memorial Fund sponsored a new outdoor playground for Cliftonville Integrated Primary School, located in a deprived area in North Belfast, as well as supported the school towards the transformation process to integrated status
