Barnardos

Barnardos’ mission is to deliver services and work with families, communities, and our partners to transform the lives of vulnerable children who are affected by adverse childhood experiences. they work with vulnerable children and their families in Ireland and campaign for the rights of all children.

The organisations primary objective is to empower the most vulnerable children in society to achieve their full potential, irrespective of their family background, gender, race, or disability, and this objective remains unchanged. By 2027, the organisation aims to provide a more extensive and comprehensive range of services and support, reflecting its ambition to become a trauma-informed specialist organisation. The trauma-informed ethos and practices have been incorporated into all aspects of the organisation’s operations. The organisation is committed to creating a favourable working and volunteering environment for all individuals associated with Barnardos.
