Solace House is committed to preventing suicide and making its services easily accessible. It aims to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health and suicide by creating a comfortable environment where individuals feel encouraged to seek help for themselves or their loved ones, discuss their thoughts and feelings, and receive necessary support. Solace House is dedicated to providing professional counselling and support services to anyone in emotional crisis, free of charge. The organisation operates under the principles of compassion, care, and understanding, and treats its clients with respect and dignity. It strives to deliver consistent and dependable services to anyone in need, regardless of their background or circumstances.
It provides one on one counselling for anyone who is experiencing suicidal distress, has made a suicide attempt, engages in self-harm and/or has been bereaved by suicide.
We also offer family support for our clients’ loved ones, group bereavement counseling and community awareness workshops and training.
